You name: Kevin M. Coppola
Your age: 23
Characters name: Ojwuzguilty
Class: Mage
casters, What does Jook mean:
Jook is basically fake casting.
Do you Jook:
In my own way, yes; I usually Jook with fire school so even if they are quick with a CS it doesn't affect my dps too much.
You will be required to prove this to us, Ok with that:
That's fine.
How Many years you been playing that Class:
On an off for years, can't prove much since I sold my last account when I went to Afghanistan thinking I wouldn't play this game again. My 60s in vanilla days were Pally / priest / mage / druid and have maintained those at max levels since launch.
Spec:
Frost for pvp
Years playing that spec:
Since the start, I don't care for the other specs too much. Fire doesn't give good enough CC for me and arcane is and always has been a pve spec in my mind.
Witch class's give you trouble in 1v1:
Sadly, warlock. Their dots eat away at my health far too quick, I've been getting better at handling them though, thanks to your help thirtytwo, hunters don’t give me any trouble anymore, thanks for that.
Do you use keybindings: Yes.
How many:
Currently, 18. I'm trying to get comfortable with at least 2 more.
how many Abilitys do you Click:
Not a fan of lying, although this looks bad; 3. Invis, evocation, and freeze (pet nova but im sure u know that)
Wow Armory link (works sometimes.): Ojwuzguilty
Vent: Yes.
Mic: Yes.
Highest arena team:
On this character, about 1000, really only played in 2s with a friend. Honestly I'm still looking for a competitive team for 3s and want to do rated BGs, as I don't care too much about 2s since there isn't too much of a benefit from them.
BattleGround Rating:
0, don't have it in me to pug with a bunch of idiots, although I'm about to because I hate to admit I have a 0 rating on this guy.
Why does Rated Guild want you over another:
For the talent I bring to the guild; I am extremely efficient at providing the necessary roles needed to make a group work well. What I mean by that, is I take direction and employ it very well. I'm not offended by constructive criticism as I believe it helps build a knowledge of the task at hand.
What separates you from others that play your class:
Honestly, from a great mage, not much. Every class has an ideal role, that difference people make is the ability to fill that role. One thing I can say that differs me from others is my ability to adapt to my team. I typically try playing support of others, so my play style differs from group to group depends on what they lack at doing.
What separates you from others that play your spec:
I think I said it about as good as I can above.
What can you bring to the table:
Another thing I think I have addressed above. I think I can bring a PLAYER to the guild that will be able to adapt an take direction far better than average. Whether you need me FCing, CC masses, dpsing people down, or all of the above; I can handle it.
Current Guild:
Zion: joined to perks (BoA's), but could care a less about them honestly; it’s a leveling guild with 1000 or so members that don't do anything together.
Time in guild:
I'd say, about a week?
Last 2 guilds:
Carrion swarm (was in the first rated BG group on my druid an where I met most of the players I know in your guild)
Zion
Do you know anyone in Rated: How:
Plenty of people. Moktor - ran rated BGs and did 2s and 5s with him on my druid. I talk to him almost daily.
then a ton from Carrion Swarm: Ghettochild, Namuu, Moktor, Hydrothunder, Greenmechine for a few.
----------------------------------------
PVE
PVE Experience:
Havn't done much pvp sense vanilla days. My guild had MC - BWL - AQ 20/40 - ZG on farm. Switched horde to pvp and never turned back to PVE. I would be willing to attend raids if we did them as a guild though, just have no ambition to pug it what so ever.
How long you been PVE player:
I like to thikn of myself as a PVPer who does PVE when friends need somebody.
Spec you pve with: IE not spec you like, Witch are you best at:
Arcane.
Willing to change specs on request:
Yes, pve and pvp im willing to change my spec if it better fills the role needed.
Hours you can attend events:
Right now, late nights. Starting next week, afternoons to nights, in 2 weeks, mid to late afternoons and any time on weekends.
Basically, I'm in the military and my times change depending on the job I am doing. Im in Cali right now on a temperary assignment where a training evolution ends next week, so ill go from working 2pm - 10pm server time, back to 7am to 4pm. Then when I go back to NC (2 weeks from today) I'll be back to working from 1am to 2pm server time.
Others things you think we should know:
Going to answer this in "Tell us a little about who you are" section.
Who do you know in Rated:
Answered above
Tell us a little about who you are
Me in real life, I'm a US Marine, married and live in NC. I'm basically a nerd, I even took a nerd job in the Marines and take shit for it constantly; I'm a networking specialist. I play way too much video games, I mean, waaay too much honestly. I literally play a min of 6-8 hours a day during the week, and at least 12 or so on the weekends. Before I joined the Marines I played on a pro team in Quake Wars (A FPS) an won some nice stuff like a new computer, vid cards, etc,; I think that’s when I really became competitive in video games. I've won quite a few call of duty tournaments on base that my unit hosts for fund raisers an what not.
In game, I'm an extremely competitive player, yet laid back a like to take a back seat when it comes to leadership. As I live in the Marines, I would rather get a task and make it happen rather than be the one tasking, mainly because it's what I'm used to and I'm very dependable for it.
Personality wise, I'm pretty laid back, I don’t take too much personal and refuse to argue in game at all costs; after all, it’s a game. I don't get butt hurt when people tell me what to do, but I am pretty quick to point out when people are doing something wrong or slacking in something I KNOW about. I'm not one to point out a flaw when I have the flaw of my own, so I try to just do whatever I can to be the best player I can be.
Speaking of flaws, one thing I think I'm going to fail on a lot is my lack of gear; so let me do a little bit of explaining before I get blasted for this:
I'm in full bloodthirsty + vic weapon instead of being full vic like I should be because I'm a dumb ass and got pissed at the 30 min rated BG queue times and switched to alli shortly after cata came out. On alli I hit 3.2k resil on Hpal and figured I couldn't stand being an Hpal. I switched to War, tried finding a group of pvpers and then realized how retarded I was for even attempting to pvp on alli side. When I came back to horde I had 3 options for characters I wanted to pvp with, I had an 85 druid, 80 priest, 76ish mage. I chose to level the mage because of what they bring to the table as I don’t really want to play heals anymore (but will be gearing up a priest to hopefully bring into rated so I can switch as required, played disc priest for literally 4 years).
That is why I am behind the gear curve and why I am in full bloodthirsty, as it took me a day or two to hit 85, then about a week to get into full bloodthirsty. I've ran BH every week since I've been 85 an haven't had anything but the PVE hands drop for me. I've capd conq pts both weeks I've had this mage at 85, and will continue to do so to get vic until I find a competitive team for 3s or HOPEFULLY get into Rated an get my rated BGs on!! (The anticipation to do rated BGs is literally killing me lol)
As I've seen on your trend thirtytwo you will probably begin asking why I got certain enchants, and will answer them accordingly if you even give this application a chance. Before you see the wand and say screw this kid, I'm getting vic wand if something doesn't drop in a heroic before Tuesday.
Thanks for taking the time to read this, hopefully you give it some consideration.
