okay so Lord Rhyolith was one of the few bosses that i actually got to test. The setup for the boss is 2 tank, 3 healers, and 5 dps, there are 3 separate rolls for phase 1.
Boss Control: the goal of this is to make the boss turn in 180 degree turns, which will make him avoid the lava and walk across the entire platform. This provides time for dps to dps adds or the boss rather than constantly having people sit on the legs. I am unsure of how many people are needed to turn the boss quickly so its something we must test 1st. right leg turns him right, left leg turns him left.
Boss Damage: boss damage will take time to accumulate over this fight. thats why it will be best if we have multiple dot classes for this fight. since there is constant switching between killing adds and turning the boss.
The tanks: the only real duty during this phase is picking up adds and keeping the spark of rhyolith away from the raid. when not tanking their job is to turn the boss
Healers this fight is really all about raid healing and that's about it. The only things that will spike damage during this fight will be the sparks. Assuming people don't stand in volcanoes then its not to much besides that. The boss control group will be taking the most damage presumably since they are sitting right under rhyolith so you may want to assign a healer to take care of them.'
Once we push to 25% its just a burn phase and the fights over. Tank taunts boss and we blow lust. Probably will be the easiest boss in the instance.
